Global "Pod" Luck in Support of Luna
Organizers wanted: Many groups that support Luna's reunification are
organizing a world-wide potluck fundrasing party in support of Luna. This
grass roots event is designed to raise Luna's profile around the globe and
to raise money for his proposed relocation. Please hold a party before
October 20th.
Join the rest of the world and organize a Pod luck Party to support Luna.
Here is how it will work:
If you are interested in organizing a party, all you need to do is download
the the invitation, print copies out, fill in the date, time and location
and invite your friends. If you would like other Luna supporters to also
attend, let us know and we will put out the word. Please organize your
party and get your donations in before mid-November (the sooner the better).
As an organizer you will be required to spend a bit of time talking about
Luna and his situation. You will also need to ask people to make a donation
to support Luna. When the party is over, you will be responsible for making
the final donation to a Reunite Luna fund.
If you have ten people at your party and they all put in at least $10 and a
few put in $20 or $50 or $100, then each party could raise around $150-$200.
For every 100 parties, we could be looking at $15,000 to $20,000 raised.
But no donation is too small, if people can only afford a few dollars that
is great.
These parties can happen at your house in the evening. They could happen at
the office during lunch. They could happen with your regular social get
togethers. Be creative and have some fun.
